iPhone Scam on Ebay

Essex Enlgand/Dallas, Texas

A English buyer contacted us to purchase iphone. Asked us to relist with a Buy it Now price. An authentic looking Paypal email was received that said that $310 had been deposited into our account at Paypal. The price included a shipping fee. We were told to ship the item via Fed Ex and that once they received the tracking number, our funds would be released. This Paypal site was totallly authentic looking! After submitting the tracking number, we received another Paypal email that said the money would be credited to our account in the next 24 to 48 hours. No money showed up. Finally, an email was sent, again from Paypal, that said that our account was over credited by $200 and that we were to wire the money via Western Union before we could get paid. Another name was give to us to wire the funds to. This is when we first knew that the transaction was a complete scam.
