Joseph Miller, Peter Hartofilis, Robert Hofler, Steve Vento all from TopDot Mortgage, devised a scam that would submit loans to lenders that contained inflated statements of the applicants earnings and assets. Lenders funded more than $5 million in these false mortgage loans.
